Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

We require a talented and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant, ambitious and caring school. We are looking for an outstanding candidate to enhance the learning of students who have a range of learning needs, with a particular focus on social, emotional and mental health issues. Midday Assistant – Cardinal Newman Catholic High School

We are also looking to appoint a midday assistant – 1.10pm to 2.10pm (term time only), Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Tuesday being 12.30pm to 13.30pm – Grade 2 Point 3- £11.79 per hour.

Midday Job Role:

Set up dining hall before lunch / clear away dining hall after lunch (wipe down tables etc.)

Assist in the supervision of the pupils alongside teaching staff during the mealtime period to minimise any disruption, so that all pupils are safe, cared for and have an enjoyable and sociable lunchtime.

Skills & Experience:

A reasonable level of fitness in line with duties .

Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.

A flexible approach to meet requirement of the school.

Able to manage time effectively.

Ability to work both alone and in a team.

Awareness of health and safety procedures.

Reading skills for following instructions.
